Before You Begin:
☑ Ensure your email address is correct and consistent

     (This email will be used for all communication and payment)

☑ Check your spam/junk folder for any missed emails

☑  Use your legal full name when signing up.

      (No aliases, shortened names, or nicknames)

  **Important**

     Your information must be accurate for your legal waiver and payment processing.

Do not share the scheduling link with anyone who has not completed the full application (form + audio).

About This Project

This project is designed to collect natural conversations between two English-speaking adults in order to help improve artificial intelligence systems and make them more natural and human-like.

​

You are not required to perform.

Simply be yourself and engage in a real, spontaneous conversation.

**IMPORTANT: Scheduling links are personal and non-transferable.**

Session Details:

​

  • Sessions take place in Vancouver

  • Locations include Downtown (Beaty Street) and Mount Pleasant

  • Exact address and instructions will be sent by email

  • Each shift includes multiple recorded conversations

  • You may participate in a maximum of 2 sessions (up to 8 hours total)​

WHAT TO EXPECT

  • Conversations last approximately 45-75 minutes each

  • You will rotate between different conversation partners

  • Short breaks are provided between sessions

  • No acting or experience is required

  • Just be natural and yourself

IMPORTANT information

  • You will be required to sign a participation waiver before your session

  • Recordings will be used for AI training purposes only

  • Your image and voice will not be used to recreate you (no deepfakes)

  • Content will not be used for advertising or public broadcast

DAY OF YOUR SESSION

Before You Arrive

   **Ensure your shift is confirmed before arrival**
      (Unconfirmed shifts may be reassigned)

​

  • Arrive 15 minutes early

  • Bring yourself. No special materials needed

  • Wear comfortable, quiet clothing

  • If you wear glasses or a hat, you may be asked to remove them during recording.

  •  IDs will be checked on-site.

       If you are not in our system, have booked more than two shifts, OR have used multiple email addresses         to book additional shifts, you will not be admitted.

payment

  • Payment is sent via e-transfer

  • Processing time: 7-10 business days after your session

  • Ensure your email and contact details are correct​

Scheduling & Cancellations

​​

If you need to cancel:

​

  • Use your booking link to cancel or reschedule whenever possible

  • If your session is within 24 hours, please contact us directly

  • Advance notice is strongly appreciated to allow time for rescheduling

  • Participants who do not attend a confirmed session without notice may not be eligible to book future sessions

  • Repeated cancellations may result in removal from future scheduling opportunities
